Welcome to my horse Traced Monotypes. Traced Monotype is a technique I discovered when I was just sixteen years old. I love it for it's flowing and energetic line quality. I've since learned that artists such as Degas and Gauguin also drew in this technique. I've made it my own by adding oil paint to draw attention to form and add some touches of color. I'm happy to be continuing the tradition of this wonderful drawing method. Horses have been my choice subject matter since I was five years old. Like many artists before me, I revel in their beauty and grace. Thank you for visiting my page.
