Description Colorized photo from 1900Original title: Elm StreetPhotographer: Detroit PublishingLocation: 7th & Elm St, Cincinnati, OHThis is Elm Street from around 1900. There are parts of this street that still exist, and other parts that are gone. If you look on the left, that tall pointy building, that was one of the IOOF buildings, for the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. Back in the 1890's, they had nearly 50 lodges, on what looked like every street. This particular building was built in 1884, but removed in 1940 for a parking garage, which it still is now.The one next to that, you can just barely see, is the Covenant first Presbyterian church, and that one is still there now. Then if you look at the very end, faded out in the distance, is the St John's Unitarian church, they still use that building, but it lost its steeple at some point.

There are many themes, flowers, porches, and local Suburban Scenes, some city, some urban. I also have many Job inspired images that cover a quite a range.
