Christie Gordon draws and paints in digital media using Corel Painter X and a Wacom tablet. She illustrates her own book covers, participates in art shows and takes commissions for portraits. Her style is reminiscent of the manga and anime artists of Japan and China, but uses more realism in her work. She also creates graphic designs for websites and company logos.

Her written works are exclusively Yaoi or M/M Romance with an emphasis on the emotional turmoil and ties binding her characters. Her writing is sexually explicit, highly descriptive, but written with elegance. She blends and mixes her stories between the historical, paranormal, and contemporary romance genres. The key ingredient in her stories is psychologically crippled characters who, through love and their own sheer will, find a way to overcome their emotional impediments and external forces to find their "happily ever after."
