As an artist, I want to experience everything that can affect me. Emotionally, erotically, physically. My explorations into photographing the female nude has agitated what was previously steadfast. It has stirred me emotionally and affected me psychologically. It has caused chemical changes in my brain that have made me feel the opposing extremes of euphoria and deep despair. As if being an artist in itself is not enough, I have tampered with the laws of nature. I have placed my emotional safety on the line. I have sought out dangers that threaten the heart.
