there's a place i'd like to take you if you'll come along with me some moonlit summer night we'll sit at the small
table in the corner by the old windows with closed eyes that see nothing hear nothing so can tell nothing we can freeze the frame suspend time unfold like satiny moonflowers in the silver light softly shining to share the stories we've scribbled the brilliant the hurtful the scandalously foolish things we celebrate and regret what remains and the lost we mourn in silence even if we never reach across the table to touch hands we'll have touched something deeper more enduring than the flesh that always fails we'll have touched our souls ~ copyright 2017 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved
The moon shines down on a corner restaurant table awaiting romance.
